    MrGordon,

    is this a joke?

    you say,

There was no question in the 1st century as to whom Jesus left in charge - his apostles. These then were unanimous in their decision making due to their being led by holy spirit.

    Left in charge?

there is only one in charge,

    that is God.

Jesus didn't " leave the apostles in charge" so they could go and spread a completely DIFFERENT message than he ever taught.

Jesus said " till heaven and earth pass, not one cross of a tee or dot of an eye will pass from the law until EVERYTHING is fulfilled"

and " whosoever breaks one of the LEAST of these commandments AND TEACHES MEN TO DO SO will be called least in the kingdom of heaven" Matthew 5 17 20

    MrGordon,

    ask yourself this,

why did God want men circumcised?

was it just for a laugh, or did He understand man's sinful ways and know of the health benefits of circumcision?

Me, i side with God knowing what He was doing when he instituted it.

there are definate heath benefits of circumcision that Paul couldn't have understood, but we can clearly see them now.

MrGordon, when you read of the "lawless one" is there only 4 laws that the "lawless one" is guilty of breaking, as in Acts that you keep refering to, or is the lawless one guilty of breaking more than 4,
