It's the western world. Its any country that is hooked into social media and the internet.
There are far to many opinions that pass as fact or pass as important. It is the age of entitlement, where everybody has a voice and every opinion matters.
But time will pass. And normal service will resume. It will take a decade or two, but the old order will prevail, where it comes to pass that people truly, honestly and completely understand that not all opinions actually have value. Should say that not many have value.
That the only opinions that matter are from those that are measured and informed, not the noisy and excited and certainly not the bullying type that shoves it down your throat. The passionate voice will always have its say but it wont be the last word said, like it sometimes is today.
Healthy discrimination will return but this time not based on race or sex or religion etc but honesty and integrity and a good education and above else a wealth of experience.
Ok, let's hope so.
