What exactly is the "First Phase" of flow-testing?

Preparing...running packers...interpreting wireline logs...pulling out and moving in the work-over rig...installing testing equipment...increasing temporary storage capacity...many phases need to take place...

The Company has used similar language wide open to escape clauses in the past...and many bought based on it...and held...and continued to hold and maybe buy more as the price fell...

As the financiers sold...and sold...and sold some more...then re-loaded at a cheap discount to the price they pushed it down to.

How about...

Flow testing of Atzam#5 oil well has commenced - currently open-hole flow-testing upper C18 and C19 zones.

Unambiguous...compare to the wriggle room in their actual statement.

These guys are mostly lawyers right...they know too well how to ensure clarity in the meaning and context of the written word.

So...why are the announcements so vague?
