The South African rand is set to take 3years to get back to pre coronavirus levels. The country has no credibility rating and has so much debt that it cannot even borrow money to stimulate the economy according to reports this week. The country is in ruins and cannot control the coronavirus as it cannot afford to shut down the economy. With people living on top of one another their only hop is a vaccine.
