I have read AFT holders feeling a little depressed and anxious while still waiting for the SARS test to be announced. I know many have been holding this stock for a long time and would appreciate any update from AFT/Microgenix right now.

But don't despair, there are many good reasons for holding and the China deal still looks promising, the reason is because the Chinese government require an Air Purification system at the highest level, any system achieving 90% or less will not be considered for hospitals, military or medical labs.

Since the Microgenix system rates a 99.9% makes it an excellent candidate and as a matter of fact the team at AFT/Microgenix have been working on targeting 100% effectiveness. Work on this is already in progress and the Chinese government would favor the system even on a greater scale!.

The threat of mutating viruses is on the increase on a daily basis and the majority of scientists are becoming very concerned. With over a billion people in China it only takes one person to become seriously infected with the SARS virus and the spread starts all over again with possible mutations.

Even with all the safety protocols and resources currently implemented it will only provide a small degree of insurance of preventive measures against further breakouts. Furthermore, we will also see a New Strain of Flu to hit Australia and Asia countries early next year, if not sooner. Moreover, AFT/Microgenix made it clear in a earlier announcement stating, "Microgenix Project Director and Scientific Director Andy Beckett is certain that the next major outbreak will be with a pathogen that is currently unknown (as SARS was just a short time ago)"

Many recent news articles have been discussing the use of UV Bulbs as an effective means of destroying pathogens, however, they fail to mention many of the flaws with this type of technology. Firstly, the use of medium pressure UV Bulb at wave lengths of 254nm or greater produces Ozone which is Poisonous, secondly, the Bulb is not very efficient and can produce a lot of heat.

Overall, it is less energy efficient and is at least 2 orders of magnitude worse in terms of destroying pathogens, and these are just some of the drawbacks to mention. Those type of systems don't come close compared to the Microgenix systems. Enough said for now and I hope some of this info helps and provides a clearer picture with some insight to current events.
