DV, if you re-read my post which you responded to, again, carefully, you'll find that we're in agreement.
Of course the past needs to be fully considered and I said as much in my post...
"Many lessons can be learned from the past"
The main point of my post though, its thrust, was that whilst the past is very important what will ultimately determine how well you do out of a particular stock is how well you can determine its future.... And if you're constantly stuck in the past, by definition, you can't be looking to the future.
Anyway, whether I've misunderstood your post or whether you've misunderstood mine I'm sure in the end we'll agree because you're highly intelligent and I'm right.
