Rights issue is a reprieve. Not on life support due to new cash reserves, but definitely a ticking time bomb if they cannot effect a substantial step change in the new 6-12 months.
Question for me is if we will get that far without a takeover. All Star Bright needs to do is to convince the underwriters to offload (probably easy at 8c). Would be a great outcome from my perspective - think this management needs the threat of a majority shareholder with the numbers to fire or block remuneration if they do not lift their game.
I just hope star bright know what they are doing. A PE takeover would definitely get AHZ moving quickly, but Star Bright is what we have - just hope they have brains/experience to go with the big stick they have to hit management with.
