Sydney - Wednesday - August 30: (RWE Aust Business News) - Atlas
South Sea Pearl (ASX:ATP) has reported a net profit of $1.61 million for
the half year to June 30 2006 compared with $464,940 profit in the prior
corresponding half.
Revenue was $5.4m against $4.18m previously.
Atlas has sold pearls in excess of $3m since the end of June
2006, placing it in a good position for the balance of the year.
The full year revenue should reach at least $11m, up 12pc on last
year, the company said.
On this basis the company expects to pay a final dividend of at
least 1.5c before the end of the year.
