True re: PE Ratio. The reason Expedia's share price has fallen however is marketing costs have risen too much (increased digital advertising costs, higher cost per click etc) resulting in lower profits. This could be industry wide (ie. if Google ad costs have increased for Expedia, they have almost definitely increased for Webjet) which is worth keeping in mind combined with new competitors such as Airbnb.
