Plenty of options.
Electric is NOT the only choice (& a poor one at that at present).
Never seen an acceptance of tech that doesn't surpass what it is superceeding.
Hence why the eye watering subsidies from the poor to the better heeled.
No other country in the world has the uniqueness of Australia.
There will be new tech.
Aust seems to look more towards the hybrid with tyranny of distance ect.
Hydrogen/Ammonia may well be our stop gap & utilises existing infastructure.
A lot of Europeans can't comprehend how big & remote we are.
