As part of its effort to fully understand the geology and mineralization at Yangibana, Artemis Resources hosted a visit by world REE expert Dr. Tony Mariano to Yangibana in early 2010. During his site visit, Dr. Mariano commented on the geochemical and mineralogical aspects of the deposit and highlighted the anomalous Neodymium which occurs at Yangibana. During his visit, Dr. Mariano collected a number of rock samples from Yangibana to complete cathodoluminescent and mineralogical studies.
His conclusions state that the neodymium values contained in the rocks at Yangibana are the highest he has observed in any rocks.
