However by way of comparison, currently lollipop workers on Brisbanes Queen Street casino development earn around $180k. This is also around 2.5 times the average wage.

Both examples demonstrate the power of outrageous union wage demands. For business such costs of labour is ultimately unsustainable, evidenced by the number of companies which eventually closed or moved offshore. All thanks to militant unions aided and abetted by gutless governments over the years.
