'In a significant move last night the Australian delegation to the UN climate talks stated it "fully supports" the proposal that developed countries need to cut their greenhouse gas emission by 25 to 40 per cent by 2020.'
this was the rudd government's position a year ago, so if we're softening our stance due to the gfc & we're the only growing developed economy then how can we expect any other developed (shrinking) economy to do more than us????
