    Well put Kurrajong,

    It all goes back to basic law of chemestry, "matter cannot be created or destroyed", so we can't 'create' MORE CO2, only recycle it.

    The trouble is the madia potrays local air pollution as climate change.

    The last time I checked CO2 was a colourless gas but when people see those great plumes of smoke that come out of chimney stacks they assume that its CO2.

    Those great plumes of smoke DO cause localised air pollution but that IS NOT climate change!

    Unfortunately people can't distinguish the two.
