Sorry for not responding to your post earlier - have been quite busy.

The email was sent to me 1 week before the chairman announcement was made.

If you don't mind I rather not post the email - don't think it would be right to do so. Although I'm quite sure Mark will answer your questions.

He seemed pretty adamant that CVI would not fail and made it clear that the Angolans wanted CVI to succeed. Well - looking at the fact that the Chairman is an Angolan...he was right...

Its very easy for people to read into what others say. Its also very easy to misinterpret what people say and its also very easy to lie and manipulate.

Only time will tell whether he can pull anything off...Im giving him the benefit of the doubt. I still see merit in the CVI story - yes it depends on many factors and yes, it depends on many what if scenarios..but i still have faith.

I also think its wrong for people to consistently slag the man off - he's quite mindful of whats being said about him and he has the right to sue members based on some of the malicious comments being said about him. Some are rather defamatory. And before the knockers rant on (which they so love to do)...its law...you cant publicly tarnish someones reputation because you think they are a "con man"....he would have every right to sue..i think its pretty shameful how the moderators encourage such behavior. And if he is a con man..that take it up with right channels - HC is not the right channel.

Finally, take a look at Solagran...last year they took HC to court for this very reason....so yes, it does happen.
