Getting to seasonal trading as usual.
So far working for me is buying a basket of small caps before Xmas, (on ASX, mining minnows), and sell it at the beginning of next year, and buy a basket of small caps again during January to Feb. and sell them all during April to May.
I will do it again this year. It is a high probability trade. For the market, I will maintain a bullish bias, with a comprehensive risk management system in place. I cannot do bearish things since I am not a short term trader. I often like to hug my dogs until the end of financial year for the tax offset, and hope for the best. Someone, I found a system that can accommodate my terrible preference.
See, you don't need to change who you are, just find a system that tolerant your loser's mentality. I don't know how long my system is working. But for now it is OK with me, and I will stick to it until I cannot make any coins.
Good luck everyone. I will be largely in holiday mood, holidays, parties, gatherings, get drunk, and many many silly things.... take no more new positions, rather take profits from time to time if my target has reached, or get ride of them in coming June for tax loss.
Marry Christmas and Happy New Year!
