people dont have the capacity to spend anymore like they once did.
they are maxed out on higher cost of living expenses just able to afford the bare esssentials if that.
go to the opp shops like me they are booming plenty of bargains there and the prices are good.
myr need to seriously reinvent their product range and who they want to pitch their goods too
it confusing too much stock trying to cater to too many which sits on shelves doesnt sell.
if they want to live in the past with their current structure and strategy then they are doomed.
the onslaught of amazon and every other nimble online or goods specific retail outlet in touch with its customers will take mkt share away from them
its now or never, change the whole board, cut fees by 3/4 ,dump traditional blk and white logo ,freshen it up with bright colours and new customer friendly interactive website app and big social media prescence
and partner with food wine tourism businesses and to tap into new customers and become more green enviromentally aware.
if they want a future in retail they need an 'al chainsaw dunlap' to come in and make serious bold changes for the long term many which wont be popular.
many great companies get delisted due to bad mgmt hopefully myr is not one of them.
