I honestly can't see why we should fund a phase III in any of these indications and any secondary endpoint yet to be disclosed are unlikely to change the value proposition.

I think you may have misunderstood the results. It does improve outcomes especially in some groups of patients. Just not in all patients. But then neither do the existing drugs.
