So today we traded 6.6m of shares between 68 and 72 cents.
What does that mean? Essentially the merger has capped the share price at 72 cents until September when it gets accepted by the shareholders. Why then is there 6.6million traded today? Are LNC able to continue to buy on market after the offer? i.e. did they pick up another 6.6m shares today at a capped price of 72 cents? Is this legal or am i wrong???? If not who bought them. Could somewhen else then make an offer - would Sapex then have to pay the $1million break fee?
Substantial holder notice went through today that they had bought a couple of more days since their last bringing it up to 6.6 %. are they able to keep increasing till they have the majority of the share register?
I have made good money on this, dont get me wrong, but i could see some real LT upside in a few years time, and cant help but be really pssed off this the directors.
