2.) Optus would be a clear number 2 in Internet, based on subscriber numbers. iiNet would be number 3. TPG are reporting 332,000 Broadband Customers, which puts them around number 4.

4.) I would suggest that SOT are not well positioned to undertake the NBN on their own, and after pulling out of the Terria group/ONI it's clearly not something they are interested in. Besides which you need to read the news, government is going it alone on the NBN.
