Goodness look at all those stats from the experts
anyone care to mention that Italy has 17% of cases yet accounts for 33% of deaths, that the vast majority of the deaths are older people who smoke!!!!
Australia has imported a large number of its cases is running at 1% deaths and with measures in place,
when new cases start to plateau or reduce we will be through the worst of it and that could well be within the next week or two.
and look at the ages of the people we have lost what does this tell you, its a serious bug that preys on the elderly but it has the same mortality rate as the flu
The problem is not that this bug is not survivable it is just very nasty for some people and our hospital system could not cope with too many cases at once.
