I don't know what happened with this specs of phantom gold, in the drill holes, but if he truly believes that it is there only one way to find out, get a new drill team and drill another hole right next to it.
I think more than likely someone contaminated the results, it's highly unlikely you will see visible gold and it's even more unlikely you will slice the core perfectly where this spec of gold is, not just one time but what 5 times, perfectly slice where all the specs were found, then the rest of the cores are devoid of even small amounts of gold and no other specs?
It's like a bad movie at this point, I am saying no way the company is involved in the contamination of the results, but the Brazilians nothing more than a bunch of theives that is your culprit right there, this guy need to redrill with a new drill team or this hole will haunt him forever.
