Exploitation permit.

I check in on DMC Mining occasionally because have an IPO for gold exploration in Guinea that is dependent on an exploration permit being granted. So far they have extended the closing date of the IPO 3 times, due to the cadastral system being closed for 'maintenance', which prevents the permit being processed. The latest supplementary prospectus now has a closing date of 8 May 2025. So hopefully, should it be granted within the timeframe, would be third time lucky for them which of course would mean processing of PDI's exploitation permit should be pretty much done.

For a mineral rich country such as Guinea, which is so dependent on the mining sector for revenue/GDP & which presumably is recipient to large amounts of donor funded technical support - how this can drag on for so long is astonishing - but yeh, it's Africa so anything can happen. Anyway, hopefully the cadastral system will be up & running soon.
