the other thing to contemplate is that one of the variables that strongly influences investment success is timing ( a long topic and i will not bore you or others..but let me briefly continue)
It is more feasible that AMX can have better control over its timing to production...they have cash in the bank, no interst bearing debts ettc
I would imagine all of its permits are in good standing for many a year, and hence only base taxes need to be paid to keep the permits.
A number of Junior Exploration companies are now running with total admin costs of $150-200k per year. You see some board members (eg Cassini) are now not taking any salary (shock horror!).
If AMX have stopped the rigs, then there is no need for there very expensive exploration execs, and their even more expensive admin support guys (country manager on $300+k pa or twice what some companies are paying for their total admin now!)
So a lot is possible for AMX to optimise their entry/investment into mining..if only they start to put shareholder returns first.
Putting shareholder returns first is part of the new mantra, alluded to in my previous post. If AMX and the gold industry (generally) can do this it will be a major coup! Viva la revolution!!!
