Wisanu says "The applications are outstanding from 2003, and Akara hadn't asked for a review of them for the past 17 year until now. As I understand, Akara knows the Thai government has had a new mining policy since 2017 so they decided to reapply. It's currently in the process of being sent to the department for its consideration. The department hasn't received the final application and I can confirm that there hasn't been any approvals...."
