It literally might be this next week - Monday would not be out of the question !
After years of drilling , St George having been very methodical .
Western Areas have their lead geologist in charge I’m sure. WSA seconded him to SGQ about 18 mths ago ?
He is the man who found Spotted Quoll ? , or managed the geology.
My personal view is that in a way WSA have been controlling the pace of exploration work, it suited WSA to be methodical and take the time necessary to scope out the full strike . Obviously paid for with cap raises by SGQ .
It suits WSA , even probably BHP ? ( who want the high grade Ni for their Kwinana plant ?) - for the mine to come on by ~ 2023.
Decisions imo , depending on current really important drilling , in this next 3 + months .
Surely this thread is tongue in cheek ?
It really is Now with SGQ.
SGQ are reaching critical depth , at MA , testing the compelling ‘breathtaking discovery ‘ John Prineas thinks they might be finally about to hit . An additional drill rig is being rushed to help hasten the drill since compelling geophysics last month .
The deep drilling followup , now underway , was planned and scheduled at once then.
The dream could be something like Raglan deposit that is in Nth America ; or really dreaming , something truly large.
The nickel grades are outstanding at St George , rich nickel sulphides , found repeatedly along strike for some kilometres- and the nickel has to be coming from somewhere —& can only be from the depths below where has been discovered, deeper down in the ground . All of the nickel discovery has been near surface so far and amenable to starting mining with an open pit. Makes a mockery of hysteria with other juniors hitting a metre or so of nickel , over a kilometre underground.
All SGQ holders and WSA holders also - should be holding their breath hoping for a big hit . Wishing for very thick high grade Ni![]()
I am so hoping it can at last be excellent news - a TH Monday even
