I agree with a bunch here, including my fellow long termers.
First... Look back over the past twelve months of announcements. At no single point whatsoever will you find VTX or Roger showboating, which I would say is in contrast to many out there and even to some I hold. As a result, trust and patience is key here.
Second... These guys are now producers, barely still developers, certainly not explorers. As a result they are no longer driven by assay results and I would argue that they might assay only one in five. Assays are about knowing where to point and build shafts, and whilst we are still considering where to stope and how to attack veins separately or together, the fact is that the geology we play in means we just need the quartz. Find the quartz? Found the gold. Not need to have extensive and expensive assays dictating and delaying your approach. Granted, they will still do some and any with visible gold will likely lead to a rare publicity approach
Third. VTX is up double what it was before Christmas despite the delays in the fines and the quiet news front. Volume is low, units are hard to get. Liquidity here will always lead to notable ranges in share price as people take profits and others join in.
Finally, whilst I thought I was here for a 12 month journey I now believe the real opportunity is in 6-12 months from now when the underground work is pumping gold whilst still results come through across multiple old shafts along the strike. I'm 8 months into holding here, believe there will be 12+ more, and I'm aiming for 10 bags. 2x up at the moment having topped up on the pull back, and with a piss load of options in addition to heads, I really believe I can squeeze 10 out of this geological abnormality with Roger at the helm.
Always worth getting time with leadership too. It's clear that Roger is here for the discoveries and uncovering the unknown. He's not driven by the money
