Below is a snip from a VTX ann from Feb 2023 referring to the high grade stockpile adjacent to the gold plant.

Note 35,000 tonnes estimated at 4 gpt - but a later ann mentions grades ~ 5.5 gpt. Perhaps the figure you quote of 3.7 gpt is a more recent estimate.
In any case it is good material to use to commission the ore sorter, and then run through the Gekko plant at concentrate grade.

Therefore, in addition to the low-grade stockpile from the old run-of-mine area, there is a second high-grade stockpile derived from previous mining activities, which Vertex can produce from before starting underground production.

I could not resist including the pic of Mr Holtermann and his 'nugget' - Vertex holders should brace themselves for a possible repeat or exceed of that record. After all Mr Holtermann and his crew found that on our ML only ~60 m from surface and ~100 m on strike. Mr Roger Jackson and his crew has 10x that depth and 100 times that strike to search.
Anyway, on a more practical note, gold like that should not be put thru the ore sorter - it would break.
