It depends, they may be negotiating the entire 5000m meter program with a contractor and that takes time, they may also be waiting for their geo to pick the exact drilling spots, depth and angles. then there is the drill schedule, sometimes the equipment is being used on another job and it gets put on the queue.... so while 5 weeks is a long time I wouldn't be surprised either way (started/finished/half way through).
It is possible that its commenced as you could reasonably argue that the previous announcement pretty much said it was going to start, so no need for additional announcement... potentially.
