Progress:
*Notation made of ^ 0.6% cut off, so the results are seemed to be prepared for Asian customers.
*Drilling has now confirmed geological model that higher grade saprolite zones exist at greater depth.
*Initial production targeting four to seven million tonnes.
*Axiom has also made progress in areas, approvals and permitting, safety and environmental management, and community and stakeholder engagement. Safety and environmental protocols and procedures are in place for exploration. Protocols and planning for ML progressing. I can see a ML being granted in the near future.
*Hint's of Anitua's LOI; Project infrastructure and logistics. Looks like Anitua will be covering not only the mining but the shipping as well. Evaluation of transport logistics (shipping channels, marker sites, depths).
*Mining implementation plan has commenced with excavator pitting to test wall stability, ease of mining, mining characteristics and 3D geological structures.
*Establishment of an initial 70-person camp to accommodate a 4 to 7ml/t production.
*Axiom has also begun discussions with Anitua to provide mining services, and with interested parties to undertake metallurgical testing of limonite, transition and saprolite ore horizons by a variety of hydro and pyro metallurgical processes. Value adding seems to be a condition in AVQ's mine plan with the mapping of the Saprolite zones for dedicated customers of Saprolite refined.
Some cracker progress over the last few months and drill results returning at present twice the DSO Ni% value (average calculated at ^1.5% Ni DSO @ twice the depth confirmed in the Kaiser/INCO original exploration data.
With Anitua on board the risk of production by the end of the year has greatly diminished. Happy the they will be covering shipping.
Looks like Ryan has been a bizzy boy. Well done.
