A stringer zone IS a potential feeder zone, and therefore the best possible target to follow up along strike, down dip and across the stratigraphy in search of a related massive sulphide orebody. This is therefore a very significant advance for TLM. That is not to say that such an orebody will have necessarily been formed or preserved above or adjacent to this zone. But it is the best possible place to start looking for one!
THX, by contrast, have a problem: although they too have found a stringer / feeder zone at Red Bore, their mineralisation lies on a small, isolated tenement, and they have already drilled out the immediate strike extensions and down dip continuations with disappointing results. Their drill sections show that these (sub-economic) massive sulphide intersections pinch out along strike and down dip. So the only chance that they have left there is to drill hundreds of metres beneath them, hoping to find geophysical evidence of repetition at even greater depth. That will be slow and expensive, and any discovery would have to be extremely good to justify the very high underground development costs.
