From the latest webcast it is apparent that the latest exploration efforts in Santa Ines are designed to delineate possible areas for exploratory drilling. Such drilling, (subject to satisfactory indicators), will take place in Spring when the weather improves.
A quote from the ASX announcement on 15th April is:-
"El Obsequio Prospect covers the artisanal copper workings where grab samples have returned up to 21.1% copper, 0.9 g/t gold, and 34.9 g/t silver (ASX release 15 June 2012)".
The above indicates why PNN is enthusiastic about the prospects at Santa Ines.
In addition the webcast indicated promising new developments in the copper/nickel Musgrave prospect in South Australia. Details on these are expected to be announced in May at the S. Australian explorers conference.
