Company Announcement Office Australian Securities Exchange Level 4, 20 Bridge Street Sydney NSW 2000 30 November 2007 EXPLORATION UPDATE • Completion of Eucla Basin mineral sands drilling for 2007 • Grant of Flinders Island mineral sands tenements • Commencement of Dooloo Creek copper-gold project drilling program • Commencement of Anabama Copper Project reconnaissance fieldwork MINERAL SANDS PROJECTS EUCLA BASIN - WA and SA With the onset of summer weather conditions, drilling has been suspended in the Eucla Basin for 2007. However, the Company is still awaiting the assay results from the last drilling within E69/1920 (Wanna Lakes) in WA and has dispatched further samples for assay from the scout drilling recently completed over ELs 3615 (Eucla 3) and 3616 (Eucla 4) in SA. Interpreted results from the collaborative geophysical surveys conducted by Image Resources NL (ASX code: IMA) in the vicinity of the Cyclone HM Prospect are still awaited. The Cyclone HM Prospect JORC compliant resource estimation work is continuing, but cannot be finalized until all outstanding Wanna Lakes assay results become available. FLINDERS ISLAND - TASMANIA On 14 November 2007, the Tasmanian government granted DRX’s two Flinders Island exploration licences (EL 6/2007 Lackrana and EL 7/2007 Memana) covering approximately 500 sq km of mineral sand prospective ground along the eastern seaboard. The grant has opened the way for ground exploration to commence in mid December 2007, to be followed up by a 10,000m aircore drilling program (with average hold depths of 50m) in early February. The Company has highlighted at least five possible target strands outlined by airborne radiometrics flown by the government. COPPER GOLD PROJECTS DOOLOO CREEK - QUEENSLAND A 1,200m reverse circulation drilling program is commencing over the Dooloo Creek Prospect, a very large (4km by 2km) area of anomalous gold-copper mineralisation. With the current drill rig, six holes are planned to be completed before Christmas. A larger rig will be necessary for deeper follow-up drilling to be conducted in early 2008. Page 2 of 2 The prospect is interpreted to resemble the upper part of a Mount Morgan style mineralisation system having similar host rock age, host rock lithologies, sulphide geochemistry and mineralisation styles. ANABAMA – SOUTH AUSTRALIA Reconnaissance exploration including the review of previous drill samples, calcrete sampling and the testing of outcropping copper-stained gossans for conductivity has commenced over ELs 3548 and 3923. This work is designed to assist the Company in planning a drilling program proposed for the first half of 2008.
