EXPLORATION UPDATE – UGANDA
Initial review of Ugandan exploration projects completed
The Company acquired seven exploration concessions in Uganda. The concessions
cover three distinct project areas: the Karamoja project located in the northwest of
Uganda, the Kibaale project located in the central portion of Uganda and the Arua
project in the northeast of Uganda. An initial review of these projects has been
completed and focussed on geology, known mineral occurrences and exploration
targets with the aim of identifying new zones of mineralisation to target exploration.
This work has highlighted significant potential to discover new gold and copper
deposits at the Karamoja project.
Karamoja Project
The project is located in the northeast of Uganda, adjacent to the border with Kenya.
The project consists of two granted concessions. Reconnaissance geochemical
sampling and geological review has identified gold, copper, platinum and chromium
mineralisation in the district.
The Karamoja project occurs in geological environments favourable for gold and
base metal deposits. Gossans of massive sulphide ore deposits look to occur in
adjacent tenements and quartz-vein gold deposits explored by a previous explorer
occur in the region. The underlying geology and nearby mineralisation suggest that
the tenements warrant further investigation. As a first step in the process the historic
data pertaining to the Loyoro and Bobong gossans will be investigated. The
Company also intends to commence initial geochemical sampling over favourable
geological sequences.
Kibaale Project
The project is located in central Uganda and consists of two exploration concession
applications. Uranium mineralisation has been identified in the area and the
concessions cover more that 35km of strike extensions to the known mineralisation.
Initial geological review indicates that limited potential exists to discover economic
concentrations of uranium mineralisation.
Arua Project
The project is located in the northwest of Uganda, adjacent to the border with the
Democratic Republic of Congo. The project consists of three granted exploration
concessions located to the west of the rift valley sediments. The geology consists of
a sequence of Banded Gneisses, amphibolite units and intrusive granites. Initial
geological review indicates that limited potential exists to discover economic
concentrations of gold mineralisation.

New Projects
The Company is currently reviewing a number of potential projects in southern Africa.
This acquisition strategy is nearing completion and the company hopes to make
further announcements on this strategy over the coming months.
Corporate
The Company has approximately $1.8 million in cash, which is ample funding to
undertake its currently planned exploration programmes in Uganda in addition to
continuing its evaluation and acquisition strategy.
