Mick, GOR is a gold stock. Gold stocks and physical gold have gone south since last July. It is pointless to say ‘ world markets have gone north’ if your reasoning is that Gold stocks follow ‘world markets’ because Gold is rather poorly correlated with other markets. HC is not the place for informed discussion as it is full of confirmatory bias, with the GOR thread being but one example. Thinking for one’s self is a way better plan.
As this post is on HC I guess it is suspect like all the others!
