Dossa.
For real? your kidding right?
"Check out the lawsuit against Barclays this year."
"I think it is extraordinary that you reduce things down to such simple terms, and you are so completely 'definite' that these are the reasons that this is happening or that is happening, too too simple my friend."
Simple things like not having timelines and costings as the reasons why Australian institutions wont go there.
Umm. They are the reasons, plain and simple, and I know this for a fact, while you are talking about a lawsuit in a different country about nothing to do with CDU.
All you have to do to know which story is true, is look up the announcements of SFR from when they first discovered degrussa until they started producing. They had costings, timelines and stuck to them, very professional. They had no difficulty raising capital and getting Australian institutions out there to have a look. They have been in production, now underground, in a third of the time of CDU, and with less dilution of share holdings.
That is the company CDU should always be compared with, as they are from such a similar starting position. I use to think that CDU were doing better because of the size of SFRs loan, yet by this time next year, Sandfire will probably have a smaller loan outstanding than CDU and be very profitably mining.
Will CDU have cashflow by this time next year? Nobody knows because they don't inform the market of realistic timelines.
If DSO sales started tomorrow, it is still 2 1/2 times longer than WM stated at last years AGM. If you add the same timing to the commissioning of the plant by the end of this year, ie 6 months away, then you should expect Sept 2015 using the same reasoning. BTW at the AGM it was also stated that commissioning would hopefully be happening by June/July, as in now.
And yes, I was interested in your answers, that's why I bother to ask questions.
The reason I mentioned previously that LT holders seem to be under a bit of distress is the amount of attacking the messenger that seems to be happening.
Unlike some, I want CDU to be successful, I want them to be selling DSO of high quality and profitability ASAP, that's one of the reasons I still hold some shares. I want 3%+ grade to be going through the processing plant producing huge cashflow, just like all other share holders.
I want the company to be held in Australian hands for our benefit and I want (and expect) them to keep discovering more high grade copper in the Rocklands area.
I also want people to just open their eyes and see that this (CDU) is not doing as well as it should be. So something is going wrong otherwise we would be in production by now.
