I think the project developers do these to appeal to the sentiments of us users, and this is a very smart move in my opinion, you can already see the amount of engagement that the DOGS project got.
I believe it would be the same for the new one CATS, it has a lot of similarities especially with how easy it is to get in, and I recently found that exchanges like Bitget already have it on their premarket.
It's early days, but I'm optimistic about CATS just as I was with DOGS.
