After watching webinar and from what I have seen elsewhere with other companies, it would appear that ‘Export Credit Agency funding’ behaves like the ECA is or behaves similar to a guarantor to those providing debt financing to the project.
In doing do, any default risk to lender is reduced and in return the lender can offer financing at lower interest rates.
