agreed there would be some lag between processing and exporting but wouldn't expect much more than a few weeks. From memory in a presentation a while back the dilution from rain causes them to use more soda ash rather then stop processing so increases costs but not necessarily reduces production. I have loosely tried to eye the difference in rain and export data to see the lag but it is not immediately clear. if i find a spare couple of hours will chuck them in a spreadsheet and see if i can find a relationship. would be nice to have humidity and wind as well, or just evaporation rate.
