    If China stopped all Australian Exports......... they would source elsewhere......... taking from peter to supply paul doesn’t change the previous demand that others had for peter’s goods.

    However price could be a different matter.

    If Australian export volumes dropped by 20% but the price went up by 25% then the total value doesn’t change....... the affects to produces however would be massive (both negative and positive)

    Most trading volumes only need change by single digit percentages to see large double digit percentage price changes.

    China is attempting to manipulate prices down by screwing us in the hope that we fold......... it could easily go either way.

    Hopefully we can do a deal to dump the French Subs and get all manner of increased access to Japan, South Korea and others ........... yes I’m dreaming thinking Yoggi Bear would cancel his close mates Mal and Cwistopher’s Subs deal.
