Interesting to read about the political objections by lobby groups, key senators etc in the U.S. to export LNG.
Several LNG producers are seeking permits to export the fuel, but look likely to face increasing opposition at the Energy Department.
I'm not sure if the permits will be approved but it goes to show that company's trying to export will face serious hurdles in the years to come. The U.S. is pretty keen on keeping the gas for itself and keeping prices low.
