In fact their hedge find clients may have even covered their shorts in which case we would see a notice shortly that BAML are no longer a significant holder (when the last trades settle and BAML return the borrow).. Or might just be an overlap where the primebroker has borrowed securities on behalf of the hedge fund client on a fixed basis and the client has covered their short on market at the same time as other clients/their facilitation desk have even gone long rfe.. Only time will tell.. Maybe we get an uptick in price if oil opens $10 higher on Monday..
