Yep, and in an era of decarbonisation, natural gas is a stepping stone that both simultaneously reduces emissions and virtually guarantees baseload power, something that wind and solar cannot do despite what their blinkered supporters assert. So yeah, as countries are forced to decommission their coal plants, they will look for a reliable substitute. Not just china, many other countries too, and whilst these other countries may not buy direct from elixir, they may buy from Australia, the net effect of the excess demand will be an increase in prices as per usual free-market dynamics. Thats my assessment.
