simply Nominee accounts though- for retail holders, not institutional investors.
They ( like Parabas Nominees) oscillate a fair bit as well- the ebbs and flows of retail investor sentiment
Some share platforms 3rd party custody to BNP and Citi- easier for them, less compliance overhead and regulatory stuff etc etc
