+++++++++++++++++++++++++ Swiftel Communications Pty Ltd ("Swiftel"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Swiftel Limited, (ASX Code: SWT), has signed contracts with two State Government Departments. The Treasury Department and also Department of Premier and Cabinet to provide services in the Perth CBD.
The two separate contracts have been awarded to Swiftel, to provide fibre optic cable (Dark Fibre) connecting each of the Departments related offices in the Perth CBD.
This is a significant deal for Swiftel as it acknowledges the approval of Government to utilise the services and products of Swiftel.
Swiftel provides a premium, high speed, high bandwidth, optical telecommunications network for business and government in Perth and throughout Western Australia. The network integrates advanced high-capacity fibre-optic cable with state-of-the-art switching technology to support a carrier grade IP network and emerging technologies.
This brings contracts totally over $3.5 million dollars signed since the commissioning of the Swiftel network.
