If you’re only visiting Pattaya and Patong I’d have to agree “seedy” as, however, if you get out into the less touristy areas, it’s still pretty amazing. I’d recommend Cambodia, esp. Siem Reap/Angkor Wat such an incredible place. Nothing beats Thai food though, hands down the best foodie paradise imo.
