Due to my share portfolio especially EXR I started seaching for a way out of the CGT scam so I talked to my account whom set up a financial adviser meeting. This resulted in setting up a SMSF and if done correctly and you are retired drawing an income stream you will pay no tax if the shares are held longer than one year. Fortunately I did this in November 2020 before EXR was as high as it is now because the off market transfer into said super fund brings on CGT. Hope that helps and I'm looking forward to November 2021 no tax happy days.
