Lets talk about Cracker
by rough estimates it seems to be roughly 50km from tavan tolgoi coal mine

Tavan tolgoi in 2014 had 2 holes drilled to assess coal seams at depth and measure gas content
given that the Nomgon and Yangir gas content came back very similiar , i would say given the distance between Cracker and tavan tolgoi we can assume we will see similiar results in gas content again, the below table shows the 6 main seams encountered, the largest being 35.7m while also hosting great gas contents


as we drill , the picture that is forming for me is that the ideal depth we are seeing is between 400-600m
the biggest coal seams with the most gas, the question here is permeability....but as weve seen with yangir , sometimes the nature of fractured ground, although ideal for permeability , can be a pain in the ass for drilling and testing

its also worth noting that the TT west basin where the Cracker-1s hole will spud is determined as low risk
