I read a great article about Gamestop today. Appears the shorters have good reason to be shorting that, a legacy gaming company with falling revenue and physical retail outlets that sell things that can be downloaded - being smashed by Covid and changing business models, you wouldn't invest in that on a fundamental basis in a million years. As funny as it is to listen to the professional market participants squealing that it's all unfair (seriously, a hyde as thick as a rhino considering how many unfair advantages they have over retail investors) you wouldn't want to be the last one holding that stock when the market turns - and it will turn.
