Don't get too worried. They influence what you think your portfolio is worth at the end of each trading day - but really they have no bearing on anything. They're looking to make a profit buying and selling within a range. I'm looking to make a profit out of this company by buying and holding, especially by holding through the day to day noise created by them. Some days the bots push the price up, the trick is to not be despondent when they push the price down, or excited when they push it up. It's equally meaningless.

The bots only control the price on low volume. Investors get rich in the sharemarket by conviction driven by fundamentals. Lots of people think they're onto the next big thing - in my opinion EXR may well be the next big thing. I'm much more scared of selling than holding.
